Matchless is a product of the McRoberts Game Farm breeding. He is stocky, small and well-built with a deep red color. His pedigree has a number outstanding individuals. Venus Double Delight, his dam, is a granddaughter of The Fireman on one side and Rosebud on the other. RJ, his sire, is a stunning red jack with Zeus, Valintino the 50th and the 58th in his pedigree, which goes back to the early imports. We needed an exceptional red jack to breed to our Winston daughters and I think we found him in Matchless.

A special spring treat — Donkey Cookies!


	If you have found horse cookies to be too big or too hard, try these yummy donkey cookies (almost good enough for humans)!
	1 apple, grated 1 C carrots, grated 2 Tbs. corn oil 1/4 C molasses 1 tsp salt 1 C rolled oats 1 C flour Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Mix carrots, apple, corn oil and molasses together in a large bowl. Fold in salt, oats and flour until well mixed. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet; press flat with a fork. Cook for about 8 minutes or longer if you desire harder cookies. I prefer softer cookies so I can break them for the foals.
